Chiefs tender Niswanger

Center Rudy Niswanger, a restricted free agent, received his contract tender offer from the Chiefs today. Niswanger was offered a one-year contract worth $1.759 million.
If he desires, he can sign a contract offer with another team. If they do, the Chiefs have the right to match. If the Chiefs decline, they would be entitled to a second-round draft pick in each case.
